Hey Hustlaz,
Many times we struggle to start a conversation with the customers.
Below are a few questions that you can ask the customer to build rapport.
About the Business
- “How did you get started in…?”
- “I really like your company name. How did you come up with it?”
- “Tell me more about your business?”
- “How long have you been in business?”
- “Is this a new business that you are starting?”
- “What inspired you to start this business?”
- “Do you market to local or international businesses?”
- “I love to learn about our customers' businesses. What type of services do you offer?”
- “Where is your business located?”
- “How long have you been at your current location?”
- “Is your storefront visible from the street?”
- “Do new clients have trouble finding your office?”
- “Who mostly utilize your service or product/s?”
- “Who will you be targeting with this product?”
- “Where can persons find your product to buy?”
- “Is is it a busy time of year for your business?”
Recommending Products and Services
- “What prompted you to get (xxxproductxxx) today?”
- “I see where you ordered (xxxproductxxx) recently. How did that work for you?”
- “Have you ever used this product before?”
- “What marketing materials do you currently use?”
- “What products have you used in the past?”
- “Were you considering using any other marketing materials?”
- “Are you planning on having any special promotions or discounts?”
- “Are these for a special event?”
- “Is there a timeline by which you need to receive these?”
OR
- “When would you need these by?”
- “What results would you like to achieve with these (xxxproductxxx)?”
- “Who are you targeting with these (xxxproductxxx)?
The Design

- “Do you have a logo that you would like to use?”
Building Rapport Statements
